Kalamkari or Qalamkari is a type of hand-painted or block-printed cotton textile, produced in parts of India. The craft made at Pedana near by Machilipatnam in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh, evolved with patronage of the Mughals and the Golconda sultanate.
